SYMPHONY AUDITIONS

Auditions are completed via video for Symphony Orchestra

You will need to prepare the following:

• 2 pieces/excerpts of contrasting music of your choice that demonstrates your level
• A scale of your choice that is appropriate for your level
• An accompanist or backing track may be used but is not compulsory

BRYJE AUDITIONS

BRYJE auditions are also completed via video and should be included alongside your Symphony Audition. To be in BRYJE, you must be in Symphony as well. We'd also like all Saxophonists to be in BRYJE if they are in Symphony.

You will need to prepare the following in addition to your Symphony Audition:

• Provided BRYJE excerpts for your instrument
• Another scale of your choice
• An excerpt of a Jazz piece of your choosing

SCHERZO AUDITIONS

Scherzo auditions are in-person. Upon submitting the form and completing payment, we will follow up with you to confirm a date.

You will need to prepare the following:

• 1 piece/excerpt of music of your choice that demonstrates your level
• The appropriate provided excerpts according to the documentation in each instrument's excerpt list.
• A scale that demonstrates your current level

VIDEOS

Please record your video audition on a phone, tablet or any appropriate video and audio recording device that can capture your ability. You must upload this video to youtube.com, and needs to be marked as unlisted or public to ensure the panel can view the video. Please make sure you have this link ready before completing the online form.

For BRYJE Auditions, please upload the relevant material for BRYJE to a seperate Youtube video to your Symphony Audition.
