Michael DiMauro

Michael began with BRYO playing the Trumpet in 2003.  Graduating in 2006 from QUT, Michael studied a Bachelor of Music with a Composition for Mixed Media major under Dr. Robert Davidson (Topology). Throughout the past 10 or so years he has performed aside traditional groups such as the Vienna Boys Choir and the English Chamber Singers, through to the more modern performers Alice Cooper, Jimmy Barnes, Fast Crew, Bliss n Eso, and more. He is now a media developer for Vita Group (Telstra & Apple), is developing a new orchestra simply known as ‘not an orchestra’  and is about to start a Masters in the Creative Industries.  Since finishing the Conductor-In-Training programme, Michael has been Musical Director for productions including West Side Story, The Mikado, Disney’s AIDA and The King and I.
