Brendon Crosby

After completing a Bachelor of Business, Brendon is currently studying Secondary Education at Griffith University, majoring in Music and Computer Education. This is his ninth year playing with BRYO. He currently performs on violin but has also played numerous concerts on viola. Brendon has been a part of many symphony orchestras, ensembles and pit orchestras across Brisbane including the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, Queensland Musical Theatre, Redland Sinfonia, Lord Brisbane’s Imperial Orchestra and the Logan Youth Music Exchange. He has toured to China with BRYO in 2010 and LYME in 2014, then to America with BRYO in 2017.

Brendon has been teaching in classroom and private settings for a number of years. Through this he aspires to further his pedagogical knowledge and continue to grow as a rounded musician. He is an active performer in many different ensembles including a string quintet, La Dolce Vita who perform frequently for various events around Brisbane. Brendon is excited to be a part of the Trainee Conductor Program and will use this experience to further his musicianship.
