Ryan Taylor is a graduate from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and holds a performance degree in classical saxophone. Having received the conductor-in-training program in 2023, Ryan led the ensemble on their 40-year Anniversary Cruise Tour to the South Pacific.
Ryan is an emerging conductor having undertaken training with Professor Peter Morris and Dr Stefanie Smith during his studies where he has continued to apply his skills to community and school music programs. As a passionate educator and performer, Ryan is researching the impact on involvement in chamber music and being a conductor in preparation for future academia.
