DESCRIPTION:Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra\nNotice of 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM)\n7.15 -7.45 pm Monday 12 August 2024\nBalmoral State High School Auditorium\n259 Thynne Road\, Balmoral Qld 4171 \n  \nThe business of the AGM is restricted to:\n1. Annual Report and presentation of 2023 accounts (President and Treasurer)\n2. Consideration and voting on proposed amended Constitution\n3. Election of Committee Members for 2024-25 \n  \nThe Committee is responsible for running the organisation for the benefit of members and makes the decisions required to keep us strong and successful. You must be a member to vote at the AGM (players must also be over 18 years – those under 18 are to be represented by a parent or guardian provided they are Associate Members). \n  \nThe Committee comprises a maximum of ten members and consists of:\n• a President\n• up to two Vice Presidents\n• a Treasurer\n• a Secretary\n• Three or four Ordinary Executive Members (depending upon the number of Vice Presidents elected)\n• the Director of Music\n• a Player Representative. \n  \nNote that only the first eight positions will be voted on at the AGM. The last two positions are\nex-¬officio and will be appointed by the incoming Committee. Note that you can only be nominated (and serve on the Committee) if you are a member of BRYO. Similarly\, you must be a member to nominate or second someone for a position. \n  \nShould you wish to nominate yourself or another for a Committee position please complete the attached nomination form\, and the associate membership form\, and return them to the Secretary by 7 pm on 12 August 2024. \n  \nIf you have any queries on this please contact me via text or email\, including if you can’t attend the AGM and wish a appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. \nRegards\, \n  \nJulian Evans\nSecretary\nBrisbane Regional Youth Orchestra Inc.\nsecretary@bryo.org.au \n
